Hail damage repair
in Bellevue & Seattle

Priced on dent count and size, not on how bad the car looks.

Hail leaves dozens of shallow dents across horizontal panels: the hood, the roof and the trunk take the worst of it. Paintless repair suits it almost perfectly, because the dents are shallow and the paint is usually untouched. Most hail cars are with us 1 to 3 days, and it is priced on how many dents there are and how big they are, which is the same arithmetic your insurer uses.

What moves the number on this repair

01

Counted, not eyeballed

An estimate is built from dent count per panel and dent size, panel by panel. A car that looks catastrophic can price lower than one that looks mild, because what matters is the count and the size, not the first impression.

02

Your insurer usually prefers this

Paintless repair costs the insurer less than refinishing every horizontal panel, and it keeps the factory paint on the car, which protects the value of the vehicle they are insuring. We can deal with them directly.

03

Aluminum panels change the clock

A hail car with aluminum panels takes real extra time, because every one of those dents has to be warmed and worked deliberately rather than pushed. The count is the same, the hours are not.

04

Cracked paint comes out of scope

Any panel where the hail broke the finish is no longer a paintless repair and needs refinishing. On a mixed car we will tell you which panels those are before anything starts.

Absolutely great experience. The people are friendly and so helpful. They also did an amazing job. This dent showed up after someone hit my parked car and it had been bugging me for months but now you would not even be able to tell it was ever there. They were fast, accommodating and diligent.

The team provided a fast and reasonable quote for the work I wanted to get done. On the day of the appointment, they greeted me kindly and gave me a timeframe for the job. The final result turned out great and the small dent is now gone.

Questions about this repair

How long does hail damage repair take?

Most hail cars are with us 1 to 3 days. A light storm on a steel car can be quicker, and a severe car with aluminum panels takes longer.

Will a hail claim raise my insurance?

Hail is usually a comprehensive claim rather than an at-fault one, which is treated differently from a collision. Your carrier and policy decide that, so ask them directly before you file. We can give you the repair figure to make that decision with.

How is hail damage priced?

On the number of dents and the size of those dents, panel by panel, which is the same method an insurance adjuster uses. It is not priced on how dramatic the car looks.

Can hail damage be fixed without repainting?

Usually yes. Hail dents are shallow and the paint is normally intact, which is the ideal case for paintless repair. Any panel where the finish is cracked needs refinishing instead, and we will identify those up front.
