Most single-panel paintless dent repairs in Bellevue and Seattle run about $190 to $900, set mostly by the size of the dent and where it sits on the panel. A small door ding is usually $190 to $280, a medium dent $320 to $520, and a larger dent $560 to $900. Hail and very large damage can run higher. The final price is confirmed in person, because the same dent over clear metal is a shorter repair than one over a brace or a body line.

Everyone wants one number, and we understand why. The honest version is a range, because a dent is not priced by how it looks from the driveway. It is priced by what it takes to bring the metal back, and that depends on where the dent landed as much as how big it is. Here is how it actually works, with the ranges we use.
What does paintless dent repair cost in Bellevue and Seattle?
Most single-panel repairs fall between about $190 and $900. We price by the size of the dent first, then adjust for where it sits and what the panel is made of. These are the starting ranges we use, per panel:
| Dent size | Roughly | Range |
|---|---|---|
| Small | about a coin, the cleanest paintless case | $190 to $280 |
| Medium | credit-card sized, moderate work | $320 to $520 |
| Large | hand sized, extended work | $560 to $900 |
| Extra large | dinner-plate sized, advanced technique | $950 to $1,500 |
What will your dent cost?
Walk the ranges above for your own dent. Four taps: size, where it sits, the panel material and the paint.
How big is the dent?
Pick the closest. We confirm the real size from your photo.
Where does it sit on the panel?
A dent on a body line or crease asks more of the technician.
What is the panel made of?
Not sure? A fridge magnet grips steel and slides off aluminum.
Is the paint still intact?
Paintless work needs sound paint. Cracked paint changes the plan.

What makes one dent cost more than another?
Four things move the price: size, where the dent sits, what the panel is made of, and how many there are. Size sets the starting range above. The rest is why two dents that look identical can be quoted differently.
Where it sits matters most. A dent in the open middle of a panel, with clear metal behind it, is the straightforward case. The same dent on a body line, at the edge of the panel, or over an impact beam or a brace takes a longer route in, sometimes with a part removed first. That is real time, and the price follows it.
Material matters next. Aluminum panels, common on Teslas, Rivians and plenty of hoods, have no spring-back and need heat and a slower hand, so they run higher than ordinary steel. And count matters: a door with three dings is three repairs, not one, though they often share setup.
Does paintless dent repair cost less than a body shop?
Yes, by a wide margin, when the paint is intact. A body shop fixes a dent by sanding it down, filling it, priming and repainting the panel. That is hours of labor, materials, and a paint booth, and it replaces your factory finish with new paint that a buyer or an appraiser can spot later.
Paintless dent repair works the dent out from behind the panel, so nothing is sanded, filled or sprayed. It is a fraction of the body-shop number, it is usually done in hours instead of days, and your original factory paint stays on the car, which protects its value. The catch is that it only works while the paint is unbroken. If the paint is cracked or the metal is stretched, paint work is the right call and we will tell you so.
Does insurance cover it, and what about hail?
We work with all insurance companies and handle hail claims directly. For hail, the price is not set by one dent but by how many there are across the car, so a hail-damaged vehicle is quoted on dent count and usually runs higher than a single repair and stays with us one to three days. Paintless repair is normally the outcome the insurer wants too, because it costs less than refinishing and keeps the factory paint.
On a single dent that is not a claim, insurance rarely comes into it: the repair is often less than a typical deductible, which is part of why people pay out of pocket and keep the claim off their record.
Why won't you just quote a price over the phone?
Because the one thing that moves the price most, what sits behind the panel, cannot be heard over the phone. A caller describing a "small door dent" might have the clean case at $190, or the same dent riding a body line that doubles the work. Quoting blind would mean guessing high to be safe, which is not fair to you, or guessing low and changing it later, which is worse.
A few photos fix that. A hard line of light laid across the dent tells us almost everything we need, and we send an honest range within the hour during business hours.
How do I get a written estimate for my car?
Send three photos and we will come back with a real range within the hour during business hours. One wide shot showing which panel, one taken at a low angle with a hard line of light crossing the dent, and one close for detail, plus the year, make and model. That is enough for an accurate read, and the final number is settled when the car arrives and the shop light confirms what the photos showed.
No charge for the estimate, and no pressure either way once you have it.
