Home / Tesla
A Tesla door and a Tesla fender are different metals, and the price follows the metal.
Which panel you dented matters more than which Tesla you drive. On the Model 3 and Model Y it is the hood and the doors that are aluminum, while the fenders and quarter panels are steel and still spring back. The Model S and Model X are aluminum-intensive throughout, and the Cybertruck is stainless, which behaves like nothing else on the road.

A Model Y does not hide much once the paint comes off, and what it shows is why two Tesla dents that look alike are not always the same job. Touch the spot where your dent sits and the paint clears to the beam, brace or open metal behind it, the same read our technicians make before a tool goes in. The car here is a Model Y, and the 3 shares most of its bones. Tap through it, then send us photos of yours from anywhere on the Eastside or Seattle.

A guide for reference, not a Tesla service diagram. It is not official and it is not exact for every car. Model, year and trim all change what sits behind a panel. The takeaway stands either way: a dent the same size in a different spot can be a whole different repair.
Not every dent is on a door, and the idea carries across the whole car. A hood hides a full inner frame, a fender hides a liner and a body line, a quarter hides reinforcement welded into the shell. Where the metal behind the damage is clear, the appointment is short. Where the damage sits on structure, the tool has to come in from another direction, or a part has to come off first. That is the whole reason two dents of the same size can be priced differently.

One panel, two moments, a short time apart. No filler went on it, nothing was sanded back and no paint was sprayed. What you slide across is the finish the car was built with. This one was corrected at our Bellevue shop, the same paintless dent repair we bring to Seattle and across the Eastside.
Aluminum hood and doors, steel fenders and quarter panels. A ding in the fender is a straightforward same-day repair because the steel has memory helping it back. The same ding on the door is aluminum, needs heat, and takes longer.
Aluminum-intensive bodies with large flat doors that show every low spot until they are finished. No spring-back means nothing helps the repair along, so every fraction is placed deliberately. Patient work rather than difficult work.
It is broad, flat and right where trolleys and other tailgates find it. Several dents on one panel is one setup and one access, which is why it costs far less per dent than the same number spread across the car.
Stainless steel behaves like no other panel on the road and there is very little accumulated trade experience with it. We assess these individually and we will say no if no is the honest answer.

Absolutely great experience. The people are friendly and so helpful. They also did an amazing job. This dent showed up after someone hit my parked car and it had been bugging me for months but now you would not even be able to tell it was ever there. They were fast, accommodating and diligent.
The team provided a fast and reasonable quote for the work I wanted to get done. On the day of the appointment, they greeted me kindly and gave me a timeframe for the job. The final result turned out great and the small dent is now gone.

Both. The hood and the doors are aluminum. The fenders and quarter panels are steel and still spring back, which is why a fender ding is usually a straightforward same-day repair while the same dent on a door takes longer.
Usually yes. Tesla paint is thin, which makes keeping it more valuable rather than less, and paintless repair does not sand, fill or spray. Where the paint is already cracked it is out of scope and needs refinishing.
Aluminum has no spring-back to help. It resists the move, hardens as it is worked and gives part of the gain back when the tool comes off, so it is warmed first to make it workable and every fraction is placed deliberately. Same dent, considerably more time.
Regularly. It is the panel that collects parking damage on that car. Several dents on one tailgate is a single setup, so it is far more efficient per dent than the same count spread across different panels.
Paintless dent repair does not touch drivetrain, battery or electronics, and it does not alter the factory finish. If you have specific concerns, ask us before booking and we will tell you exactly what the work involves.
One straight on, one at an angle, one close, plus the year, make and model. A real answer within the hour during business hours, including when the answer is that paintless repair is the wrong method.
